When my family first immigrated from Vietnam to America, I arrived just in time to start the first grade. I was immediately tossed into a classroom with 30 other students. Not knowing English I had no way to communicate. I had to draw pictures to communicate with the other children as I learned the new language word by word. I started winning art contests before I perfected my English.
Fast forward a couple of decades and I am still using art to communicate to the world around me. In my creative career I have learned to wear many hats: graphic designer, web designer, illustrator, photographer, video editor, and art director.
I believe in the power of an image to tell a story. I search for truth in advertising. I like to keep it simple.
